The Problem: The Tapps Island HOA contacted us about an aggressive yellowjacket colony inside a tree cavity on their golf course fairway, with multiple golfers reporting stings and the hole essentially unplayable due to heavy wasp traffic.

 

Our Solution: We deployed our three-phase treatment protocol starting with PT P.I. aerosol for immediate knockdown of guard wasps, followed by Delta Dust application deep into the tree cavity to eliminate the colony at its source, and finished with PT Alpine residual barrier around the entrance to catch returning foragers and prevent recolonization.

 

The Result: Within 24 hours, the colony was completely eliminated with zero live wasp activity confirmed, the golf hole was safely returned to play, and the HOA reported no further incidents or complaints, eliminating their liability concerns and restoring full member enjoyment of the course—all accomplished with a single treatment visit.
